As a photographer, I truly believe in connecting and building relationships with other photographers. Each of us has something unique to offer and I cherish the photography relationships that I have. Each Friday, I am going to feature someone or something that inspires me. I am going to kick this off with a bang and introduce you to Amber Fischer of Amber Fischer Photography. If you have never seen her work, be ready to be wowed! This girl has some serious talent. No joke. When I read her blog, I am always SO inspired by her creativity, her angles, her editing style and personality. Basically, she is a rockstar. View full post »
I have to admit, this post is going to be a little sneak peek as well as a Photoshop before/after post. This is from an engagement session I shot this last weekend and I am in love with the photos. The photo I have chosen below, View full post »

This is just amazing Rachel! I was wondering how you enhance the sunlight behind them- so very pretty!!!!
So beautiful! I love the crop. It makes it look like an completely different photo. What did you use to get the rainbow effect that is all over the photo?
WOW! Stunning. Great job!!!!
These are so gorgeous!
Gorgeous edit, Rachel! I know you really love textures so I’d love to learn more about the method you use for application? I’m all for quick & easy and I’ve found textures seem to take me a long time.
You are such a texture rockstar! Like Casey said, they always take me a long time…would love to know more about your method!
What a beautiful photo and edit! And thanks for sharing what you did… it is amazing to see the potential a photo can have!
wow…this is why you pay for custom photography!
You can take something that is just ok and turn it into art!
I love this picture! So gorgeous! It feels so magical. Straight out of a Fairy Tale. I have so many questions, but I will start with this one (completely unrelated to this before and after.) How do you make a boring gray sky pop? Add color and maybe even clouds?
LOVE LOVE LOVE it!! The colors are to die for! Good job Rachel!
Thank you everyone for your comments! I am excited to answer these on Monday’s post!
wow! that’s a stunning photo – never would have guessed the SOOC was so different. Awesome – and thanks for sharing your process!

I met Bethany at a monthly mom’s dessert group last year. I am not sure exactly what it was, but I felt like we just ‘clicked’. Maybe it was because we have had our last 2 babies at about the same time. I don’t know what it is, but I do know that she and her family are some of the nicest people I have ever met. And her kids? Sooo adorable.
